Fellow Quebecers,

My name is Emmanuelle Beauchamp, a proud Quebecer, born in Lanaudière. I speak from my land, not from a studio. And I am wounded by what is happening here.

We were lulled for a long time. “It will never happen here.” Then riots broke out at Canadiens games. Shops, vehicles, places of memory, passers-by: the same contempt, the same methods. This is no longer an incident. It is a ritual taking root.

Mass migration has a name

For years a mass immigration, imposed without consent and without any demand of assimilation, has been transforming our soil. Populations with no love for our history, no loyalty to our people, no intention of becoming Quebecers. They call that “diversity”. It is a migratory invasion. The right words are the first act of resistance.

The people are not the problem. Discord was sown among us the better to rule, the better to control us. The real problem is our elites — federal, and sometimes from here — who refuse to name what they see, because naming it would break their novel.

Masters in our own house

We are a people. A civilisation. A will to be sovereign on the land that made us. Not a folkloric subset of Canada. Not a province to be filled.

It is time to stop submitting. This uncontrolled mass immigration must stop. It is time to take back our borders, our laws, our pride. It is time to say: here, we no longer tolerate those who hate what we are.

Immigration, when it exists, is supposed to be a rare, chosen, assimilated asset. It is not supposed to replace a country, nor make it unreadable to its own children.

This is not hatred

This is not hatred. It is love for what was built here, in French, in the cold, against forgetting. Just clear sight, and the courage to protect what remains.

For our fathers who built. For our children who must inherit. For a free Quebec.

Long live free Quebec.

Let us bring back common sense.
